Where are we?
The camp is located in a village called Podljubelj, near the main road going from Ljubljana to Klagenfurt. If you’re coming from Tržič, take a right turn when you reach Podljubelj and then follow the signs for Camp Podljubelj (at the first crossroads take a left, after about 700 meters turn left again on the over-bridge, cross another little bridge, take a left to the unpaved road and after about 200 meters you have arrived to your destination). If you’re coming from Ljubelj, follow the signs on the right and you are right there.
When is the best time to visit?
You are welcome at the camp all year round, but outdoor camping is possible from May to October.
What can I do?
In addition to camping, relaxing and enjoying fresh air, the camp is an ideal place for an active holiday. You’ll be surrounded by hills and mountaintops that are accessible either on foot or bike. We have a children’s playground, a volleyball, football, and basketball field, as well as other surfaces for activities. There will be no need to drive far away to experience natural and cultural sights. Tržič is located 6 kilometres away, Bled 30 kilometres, and Ljubljana just 50 kilometres away.
How and where do I check-in and pay?
All can be arranged at our little reception desk at the camp. Currently, only cash payments are possible. Reservations can be paid in advance on our checking account.
What do I have to take with me?
You can bring your own camping equipment, or enjoy the care-free camping in our alpine cabins where beds and linen already await you.
How about food and drinks?
You can be served with drinks at the camp. There are some restaurants in walking distance from the camp that offer great food. What is more – you can eat homemade dishes in any of the mountain huts nearby. Of course, you can choose among many more restaurants and stores in Tržič.
Is the camp suitable for children and animals?
Yes, children and animals are very welcome. There’s a lot of space for your children and/or animals to play freely.
